Ingredients for the biscuits with peanut butter
1 cup of peanut butter
1/2 a cup of muscovado sugar
50 ml of olive oil
1 egg
1 cup of spelt flour
1 teaspoonful of baking powder
Preparation
Preheat the oven at 180°C. Combine the flour and baking powder in a medium size bowl.
Mix the peanut butter, sugar and olive oil in a big bowl until smooth. Beat the egg and add it to the mixture. Add the flour little by little and keep on stirring.
Form small balls with a spoon and lay them on a sheet of greaseproof paper. Bake the biscuits until golden brown, for at least 15 minutes. Let them cool on an oven rack before serving.
